We don't really do all that 'slushy stuff', so we picked 'Come fly with me - Frank Sinatra'.
It was just a case of flinging ourselves around the dance floor in a very informal way, laughing a lot. Within seconds the guests were joining in.
We now have ballroom and latin lessons. You can book a course if you want to go down the formal route.
We went with Secret Garden by Bruce Springsteen because we love the song and the lyrics were apt. It turns out it's quite a long song if you're self-consciously swaying around with most of the people you know watching. We were saved by Lionel Ritchie dancing on his ceiling, which had everyone (and I mean absolutely everyone) on the dance floor. Still makes me smile nearly ten years on.
