What is the best "first bike". Ilsa bike, Rothan etc? Prob want to go down the line of the balance bike, but welcome ideas.

Pitch pro with pikes and they can grow into it.

Sorry 🙁

Don't have kids yet, always liked the look of the Isla bikes though.

Just a thought, could you remove the chainset and blank the bb shell while she learns to run along and balance, then replace it when she's got the confidence and wants to go a bit faster?

I did have a think along those lines gecko, but also like the look of the wooden type bikes, moving onto a steel frame later. The wooden ones have limited steering, and not sure how to bodge that on a "normal" frame.
