Chewk – it sounds like your finish colleague is perhaps just an astute judge of character.

😬

Personally I prefer more northern parts of the country, these southerners are very weird in their habits.

How weird? I cannot remember if my friend is from Turku or Helsinki. 😀

I know that I don’t have a clue on this, my comment was about person who returned to UK.
Most expat work mates I know have left due family reasons (parents), better salaries elsewhere, shit weather and being bored in small city.

They talk too much, are way too happy and huggy.

Even with "more" mountains, the emphasis here is on slightly. 😉

We have way more types of cake than the Finns though, so another vote for Sweden. We are also way more honest and trustworthy than the Danes.

But am I right in thinking that even the Swedes think Norway is cool?

Agree with Convert on this one ‘career politicians’ are not a positive force in politics. Rather than being a career there should be a minimal stipend for being an MP… and a number of years of qualifying work/charity experience to build a broader social perspective

Then we’d end up with even more rich people in politics who could afford to do a “Gap Yahhh” When they were younger, work part time and do a lot of charity work.
