I have a choice of 3 DVDs that have been sat on my shelf for a few years, and are as yet unwatched. So votes please on which one to watch tonight. You've got 2hrs...

A) Seven Samuri (1954)
B) The Bridge Over The River Kwai (1957)
C) Jarhead (2005)

Probably go for a, but both a & b are right up there as true greats.

Seven samurai, assuming you have sufficient time, not the shortest film!

apocalypse now

Went to see it in 35mm at the ABC in Edinburgh before it shut. I hated it! So no thanks.

And have just looked at the DVD box - running time of 190 mins for Seven Samuri. Ooof! Maybe not tonight then...
