- New socks!
- Freshly made bed with cool pillows
- Beans on toast
- Boiled egg with brown bread
- Sitting outside with a great view in silence but next to someone you love
- An unexpected hug from the kids - more special as they get older...
Feeling tired - falling asleep - waking up - feeling good again.
Falling asleep on the sofa mid afternoon, waking up 20mins later all groggy.

A 48 hour period in which the whole family is away, it’s just me in the house, and I can ride for 3 hours before coming home to eat chicken drumsticks in front of GCN until nighttime, when I can then switch over to bingeing on The Bridge or Seven Seconds or some such show.

48 hours of peace to eat ,ride bike, eat,stretch,sort bike for tomorrow,lig on sofa,eat,watch 5th element,eat,sleep.eat.big poo ,ride,eat,stretch and lig. & listen to some music.
& a bit of gardening between courses.
Lying on the lounger on my patio as the sun sinks, watching the mountain turn from red to pink to grey as the swallows go home to be replaced by the bats, then the stars start appearing. ..
