AndyP - so I assume you don't like football so why are you on this thread calling names about something you clearly have no knowledge about. Time for bed - school starts tomorrow.

anyhoo, the "dirty leeds" of the 70s were simply fighting fire with fire. Remember "chopper" Ron Harris et al?

Again you show you have no idea. Yes there was a time in the early 1970s when they had some tasty players but so did Manyuu and Chelsea amongst others. But you wouldn't know that as you don't know anything about the game then or now.

What about them? Research your stats for every season and compare...

ah yes I wondered when that would come up.

Of course, AndyP doesn't follow football, or have a favourite club, so we can't raise the spectre of his team having "pro footballers that were being tw*ts while out on the p*ss", as happens at many clubs. Not just Leeds Utd.

They weren't representing Leeds on the field when those idiots did that and Bowyer had previous for similar acts when he was at West Ham after a fight in McDonalds so does that make them Dirty Hammers too? (The Hammers is the nickname for West Ham as I presume you won't know that either).

I liked the commentators on ITV running a book on extra time to the nearest 5 minutes if Leeds were still in front at full time.

Leeds won fair and square because, on the day, they were the better team and "wanted" it more. Don't have the stats to hand but I reckon the 70's Leeds were no "dirtier" than anyone else at the time, just, erm, a little more calculated in how they operated - lessons learned and put into practice by most modern teams. The O'Leary team were in no way "dirty", at least on the pitch. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Bloody Man Utd! typical. Really need to sort the squad out by selling half the crap.

Good to hear Ferguson admitting his team wasn't good enough too. I think I am still in shock - this is the first time Manyuu have gone out in the third round and the first time against a lower league team since he has been in charge.

Proud Leeds fan. Now watch us get hammered by Spurs in the next round...
