Our collie used to run about a foot in front of the right front wheel of the tractor all day long. No idea how it didn't get run over.

I also like the fact the dog is clearly checking he is plougha straight furrow, providing feedback.

Of course it all gets a lot more complicated when they go to mow a meadow.
