Why nasty it's not like he used to be in advertising or P.R. I love the repeated references to his role as vice chairman.

"Nothing is being hidden and there is no issue as far as we are concerned with him standing for UKIP in the election."

A well worded quote

Ukip also say that he's not done anything illegal. It later in the article it says one of his films shows sex acts on a university campus and on a bus.

Pretty sure that would be classed as a public indecency offence

If it's actually open, and not just faked on a closed set of course. You can't believe everything you see on the net.

"I had to keep it rigidly hard for a period of nine hours, and this was way before Viagra had even been thought of - and fire off bang on cue!"

Definitely a requirement for running a country.

Nope, you have to be doing it in such a way that it can cause distress and actually (rather obviously) get caught.

If you are caught having sex in public then it is possible that you will be charged with a criminal offence. The law and the punishment evoked as a result of breaking it will largely depend on the circumstances in which you are caught having sex. Whilst it is understandable that people can get carried away in the moment, it is also reasonable that there must be some kind of law protecting people, and particularly children, from witnessing such sexual acts.

There are several possible pieces of law that can be breached by having sex in public: notably The Sexual Offences Act, outraging public decency, and the Public Order Act. Common to all these laws is that is must be witnessed, or have been able to be witnessed, by somebody else. Apart from the obvious fact that it will be difficult to get caught if nobody has seen you having sex, the more pertinent point is that the law in this area is not designed to restrict two people having fun, but to protect people who may not want to witness it; therefore if nobody has witnessed the incident, nobody can have been caused any alarm and there is unlikely to be any punishment.

The law protecting people from seeing sex in a public place will therefore be administered in accordance with the very specific circumstances involved. If, for example, a couple are caught having sex in a public place, but perhaps somewhere they felt they could not be seen: perhaps in an empty park or beach, then the punishment (if any) is likely to be less severe than were a couple to have sex in an area where it is clear they will be seen and they have made no attempt to avoid the gaze of the public.

The reason for the laws in this area is for the protection of the public and so deliberate actions such as flashing a member of the public are likely to carry a far harsher punishment than simply being caught having sex with somebody as the former causes more alarm to the member of the public. Indecent exposure can carry a punishment of up to two years in prison.

It should be noted that these laws are in relation to England and Wales (with similar provisions in Scotland); if you go abroad, particularly to notoriously religious countries, these kinds of acts can result in far more severe punishments.

So basically; no witness, no crime.

As much against UKIP as I am I'm not sure why his choice of profession should be of any concern, it's only noteworthy because he's actually honest enough to admit it.

Last January the University of the West of England in Bristol threatened to take legal action after it emerged a Johnny Rockard feature had been filmed on its campus.

The 23-minute video was called 'Johnny Rockard at University of West of England in Bristol Student pick up and public sex with horny Xzena'.

I don't know all that much about either UKIP or the grumble industry, but if nothing else he really needs to work on his movie titles.

Well with Richard Desmond (he of Penthouse and Asian Babes fame, amongst other high quality publications) donating £300K to the election campaign Mr Rockard is in good company in UKIP!

Had to smile yesterday when driving home as someone has sprayed a swastika on a UKIP banner on the way to Weston. 😀

That's a cheap shot.

I prefer the more classy dig by The Times :

And the BBC :

Although someone might have stolen the idea.
