Curious as to what is covered, I am thinking i might drive to Switzerland next summer, currently the car is on 145k miles, by then it may be at 160k, assuming it hasn't died.
If the car dies whilst abroad what happens? will they fix, will they repatriate the car, scrap it?
Is there any standard things to expect, such as a spare car?

i had a car die in france a few years back. cracked head. It wasn't worth a whole heap and the garage they took it too wanted a fortune to repair it.
I told them to keep it and dropped the hire car they had provided me off at the ferry port on the way home.
