Looking to book a Eurocamp Static Tent in Germany. All looks very nice, but has anyone had any experience of the Eurocamp Tents in terms of comfort etc over a 10 night stay. Looks like lit has nice comfy beds etc, and a lot of the mod-cons.

i spent about 8, 9 years with my family on Eurocamp holidays in tents like those, on 14 night holidays.
luxury camping under canvas (Assuming these new versions are still canvas, which i would have thought as Nylon would be dead from UV exposure part way through the season)
beds were ok from what i remember - foam mattrasses on a sprung metal base. electric hook up, fridge and gas camping cooker, plates and cutlery.
plus the on site couriers on hand should you need any help (mostly english or dutch students when i holidayed) with anything.
only thing you really need to take is clothes and bedding
Cool thanks. Kind of what I expected really. I might go for it.
IME a week is enough. You miss having your own loo, especially if you've got young kids. Have week 2 in a static caravan if you can stretch to it.
having spent a season putting up tents for "French Coutry Capmping", then a subsiduary of Euro Camp many years ago.
FCC tents where clasifeid as 'Elysee' while Euro camp tents where slightly bigger with the 'Versailles'.
Tents are big enough, and you have beds with matress, full electrics, fridge cooking equipment and utensils.
In fact what you have at home, but under canvas.
thanks. no kids so we don't have that complication. The site has free wifi as well, so I can take my laptop ๐
They are ace mate, many a happy holiday.
We did the tents first time round, me and the kids loved it, the wife suprisingly thought it was ok. Next few times we upgraded to the caravans - wife & kids loved them and to be fair they were less hassle but id still rather have the tents
