Cape Epic has started and promises 8 days of, well, Epic stage racing. First stage was 90+km, 2600hm which sounds like a big day out let alone another 6 days of similar... Stage two has completed, a shorter day in fierce heat. Stage 3 is already modified and shortened with an earlier start to hopefully be cooler....Â
There are some factory teams and big names in there and Annika Langvad back and in leaders jerseys just a few months after having a baby.... anyone riding or following?
4Islands is coming along soon in April and last year it was nice to meet some folk from this parish.... Swiss Epic in August I think still has a few places open.....Â

Started to watch it on YouTube tonight. It's good racing but my god they ride fast.Â

It's always some great racing in stunning scenery, but anyone else not getting much in the way of update emails, results etc? Every year prior to this they've been pushing the big start, the riders etc and this year i've barely had anything. Website doesn't have video updates particularly quickly either.Â
Not knocking the event, just seems like they've missed some of the promotion/results stuff this year.
