As ever, being prepared for it and all that. Good to hear his kit and prep worked well..Dry and cold for an enforced bivvy would be fine, wet however....

I too spent a worried hour or so searching for Corrour bothy in really, really crap weather. The classic deep snow, mist, rain and dark - we must have passed by it a couple of times and not seen it.

I recall reaching the bothy at the coll between Glen Clova and Loch Muick to find it rammed full of snow.
