[#2502607]

Just polished off my 4th egg of the day.

What's the consensus at the moment - are they good or bad for you?

I imagine 4 a day probably isn't overly good for you! I'm quite partial to 2 poached eggs for lunch each day, don't think they're bad for you in that form.

You can't beat an egg!

I had three for breakfast. They're the perfect food (and the "too many raise your cholesterol and are bad for you" myth has been completely debunked).

1 egg every now and then = tasty.

more than 2 or 3 a week = bunged up bottom hole.

Pretty sure they're fine. Government changed their stance on eggs (to they're not bad for you after all) last year I think.
4 is fine but I wouldn't do it every day - and we've got our own chickens!

I read some sciency article fairly recently debunking the previously-held belief that too many eggs are bad for you.

Nutritionally, eggs'r great.

Bit of protein, fat/carbs and vitamin something-or-other.

Apparently they contain 'good' cholesterol. Whatever that means. (and I can't be bothered to find out).

I've been eating 3 or 4 eggs a day for years with no ill effects.

If you want to be really anal about it, read this

A couple of eggs daily for me. I'd eat more but mrs z seems to think it would be bad for me.

I think that it is eggstremely important when chicken anything health related that people don't eggsaggerate too much when shelling out opinions. Eggsamine the facts, and reward eggshellence where you can. R-eggard eggstravagent claims as nothing better than yolks to be eggnored.
