Morning all,

Am after a few pointers/opinions for a DWA*, so what can you recommend....

Am after either;
Nice pub with good big comfy rooms, nice bathrooms, good food and beer and some cracking countryside around, ideally with another nice pub pub or two to walk to for lunch.

Or;
As above but in a nice hotel, with a pool/spa. Country or small town location, again in an area with some nice countryside, and with a good pub to walk to for lunch/dinner etc.

Up to a three hour drive from That London's Famous City of London. Budget? Not too scarily expensive but not el cheapo either!

I've got a few ideas in my little list, but just wanted to see if anyone else has a few good suggestions.

*Dirty weekend away.... ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Brighton, Bath, Christchurch, Bournemouth, Stockbridge (hants), Axminster, South Downs (if you need specific villiages I can recommend a few Micro Breweries that offer B&B's)

Ohhh, have fun...

Had a bit of a humidor restock on a recent business trip, Darcy, so I have the schmoking bit sorted!

Hotel looks nice, rather like the idea of a trip to 'Nam, even if some of the locals are a bit restless.... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anything more rural, anyone?

My friend Emmy runs this lovely place http://www.lilybankfarmcottage.co.uk/

Much raved about here;
http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/please-recommendluxury-place-to-stay-for-romantic-weekend-with-good-riding

It doesn't have to include the riding (as above).

Edit : I see you don't mind a bit of riding ๐Ÿ˜‰
