Once I have bored of Guiness, what else is there to do? And any recommendations for places to eat? There for three nights (starting tonight). In particular, any curry house recommendations?

Just you, or with the wife?

Last time I was there, with a group, we went here to have dinner and listen to johnny Daly. Brilliant - a great storyteller, with a great mix of history and folklore.

I really enjoyed the Bad Ass Café in Temple Bar. Decent straight-forward food at reasonable (for TB) prices.

Just been through my pile of restaurant cards and found the Surma Indian 43 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2. T-4755011. I've eaten there a couple of times when working in Dublin and it's pretty good.
