[#7601781]

So I found some dry rot appearing in a skirting board in the back of a cupboard.

I ripped out the skirting board and carpet in the cupboard (and cork tiles under the carpet) and then treated the whole lot with a fungicide.

There was a fair amount of white mold between the carpet and underlay.

It's on a concrete floor so I've not got joists / floorboards to worry about.

What else do I need to do to stop it spreading further?

It's on a party wall in a 1890's semi, below where the chimney breast used to be.

Fix the damp problem caused by the chimney.

Captain - that was going to be a line of inquiry to follow up.

Cheers Tony
