I also wish, but they're not playing anywhere in the Midlands apart from Download. ๐Ÿ™

Ditto London.

But they *are* lined up for doing Wembley in October - tickets on sale monday - so I daresay they'll be doing some other dates...new album's out later this month so mebbe that'll be part of a bigger tour.

Wembley sucks tho', wish they'd go back to Hammersmith where I saw 'em a few years ago....

New Album is excellent. Took a bit of getting used to but can't wait to see how it holds up on stage.

Cracking concert they were excellent. Only one song from the new album which I found quite surprising. As we're "not" supposed to have it yet maybe they thought we wouldn't know the songs lol

Setlist as follows

In the Presence of Enemies pt1

Beyond this Life

Misunderstood

A Rite of Passage

Hollow years

Caught in a Web

Forsaken

Erotomania/Voices

Solitary Shell

Constant Motion

As I Am

Encores:

Metropolis pt1

Learning to live

A Change of Seasons pt7

Highlight for me was Hollow Years it sounded awesome. The Encores were very good especially Jordan on his Mellotron in Metropolis. On stage 2 hours 6 mins.

Had to work wish I could have gone, anybody heard if the progressive nation tour is coming to the UK. Dream Theater and Opeth on the same bill would be really worth seeing.

DT with Kevin - Awesome
DT with Derek - very funny
DT with Jordan - suck

yes Jordan is a talented guy but everything they have recorded in the last 10 years is very dull and the gigs go from bat to worse.

That said I'm giving them one last try in August.

Sorry missed the updates on this thread. Opeth and DT on the same bill would be awesome. At least I've got my Porcupine Tree tickets booked for later in the year ๐Ÿ™‚
