Which is currently correct for a female draughtsman?

Nowadays most places class draughtsmen as designers. My place call us TDP (Technical Data Pack) Designers.

Draughtsmen are not designers and more importantly from my perspective designers are NOT draughtpersons.

I agree but in many areas the lines do get blurry. Personally I have a lot of input into concept work but calcs and FEA are the black magic of the Designers...and some of the Designers will do a bit of draughting up to a level

When I were a lad we did the design and draughting. Then it went to the tracers to pretty it up.
