The Dolce gusto machine has been doing sterling work churning out cafe au lait but has started to leak. So the opportunity is there to replace it with a bean to cup machine BUT it must produce a better quality cafe au lait with minimal fuss or we'll be back to pods pronto. WWSTWD. Let's try and keep this to a nominal £350 budget and not require cleaning internal milk tanks.

You've reminded me our Dolce gusto mini me leaks from under the water tank... Quick Google, one YouTube video and a replacement seal ordered for under a fiver. Hopefully job done 🤞

My MiniMe started to leak. A quick disassemble-reassemble fixed it.

@jonwe - Aprt from burn your budget and recommend a separate espresso machine and grinder? 😉

I’m a big coffee fan and have picked it up as a hobby really, but on the coffee forum I’m a member of the Melitta bean 2 cups seem well regarded whilst other brands get slated. They are a proper established coffee company more famous recently for their drippers.

Maybe up your budget a bit, for something like this? External milk tank as well.

Tell me more about the seal? We've one in the house and one in the caravan. Both now leak.
