Just wondering as we (a small digital/litho printers) are looking at machines for banner printing - and its a bit of a minefield!
We've a budget of around 10k and were not sure wether to go down the Roland print/cut router or staightforward printer just for banners.

I do. I have used encads, mimakis, hps and Roland's. I can't recommend the Roland's enough. Whih Roland are you looking at? I have recently changed jobs and have gone from using a vs640 to an xc540. The xc is so much faster but you can't print quite as wide. There is so much more that you can do with Roland than banners.
