It's a difficult call, as each series' tech can only be imagined using the stuff available to the production team at the time. This is why capt Picard and Janeway had clunky laptops which were laughably twee for anyone used to post year 2000 technology. Also (Data excepted), the AI is very dumbed down to the level of a moderately retarded Siri.

What is Apple Stores are actual space ships, just parked up and in disguise?
If this were true, nothing would be sold, ever because the Apple stores would immediately render any customers blind with excessive lens flare.
