Usually find this type of video irritating. But very much enjoyed this one... jolly entertaining (you can skip to about 4 mins for the good stuff)

I love that they get all indignant that someone should have the nerve to booby-trap the thing they nicked.

Itching powder and pepper spray FTW.

Very good! Of course perps could so easily have ended up with 4 phones for their efforts.

Could so easily be reengineered with Nitromors or acid of some description - but that would be bad. Definitely. And something I would never do.

You'd hope that he would work with the police, given that he has GPS tracks, video evidence and fingerprints, to get people arrested and get the message out that there is a chance you'll get caught stealing packages.

As a parent, glitter is just about the most evil thing - all over the inside of a car - that's never coming out !

Already done?

Ha ha! Very good!

I'd have liked to have seen a more indelible solution than glitter though. Something like glitter mixed with turmeric powder & some kind of sulphur powder that would stink the place out & be hard to remove. Or a bright coloured powder paint.

I think he sensibly might've been worried about them returning to the place they stole from with a bit of comeback...

As someone working as a school cleaner for the first time this Christmas my daughter would agree with you.

I'll see your glitter and raise you "The Glitter Slime Factory - 14 experiments using the sparkliest slime ever created"

Not that I've bought this for some annoying relative's child...oh no not me. It was Father Christmas Ho Ho Ho

This has to be a euphemism.

Should've employed this simple security device to surprise rug thieves.

As mentioned by Martin the best bit is how they all get annoyed that the parcel they just knicked was booby trapped.

That needs owning with carpet bombers.

DPD do this with their mass mobile phone shipments. They stick some boxes in the middle that have trackers in so when the shipment is stolen the police can find it still.

No glitter involved there though.

rugs can be pretty heavy, if they had to carry it off they'll be shagged out.

If you can track down the rug thief, then you might want someone to give them a slice of fist pie.

Will Ton oblige?

Saw this on twitter as well..
Apparently the police are institutionally uninterested (even when people have cctv).

The best suggestion for "glitter alternative" on there was photocopier toner (possibly colour) :O)

Also no-ones mentioned the fart spray feature to ensure they chuck it away and he gets it back.

I reckon if you didn't need the gps and video you could make something much simpler which would just get revenge without recording it. You wouldn't get evidence, just a warm feeling inside.

Last thiefs nicked a nice road bike as well. As above I'd have filled it with something much more unpleasant. Amazing how often it gets stolen.

I enjoyed that video but I still think seeing a thiefs head hit the ground is far more satisfying.

I could have done with this - i ordered an iron off amazon and it got nicked.
I'm a bit depressed now, to say the least...

You'd probably get done for assault or something considering copier toner is a hazardous substance.

Yes, a nailbomb would be better. Kill them dead and there wouldn't be any comeback.
Not sure whether the youtube video would be quite as much fun though.
