Hi all,

Looking for a nice BnB within 30mins or so of Edinburgh, ideally with a nice view. Just for one night. Looked around but nothing has jumped out yet. Decent meal nearby would be good too.
Under around £80 a night would be ideal.

Ta,
Duane.

Backcroft B&B chapel st innerleithen. Lovely hosts and ideal for a pedal on the trails if you have time

Try http://www.craigbraecottage.co.uk or Craigbrae farmhouse http://www.edinburghbedbreakfast.co.uk/vendors/craigbraefarmhouseedinburgh.aspx between Kirkliston and Dalmeny. Fairly remote so views of open fields, possibly views across airport to the Pentlands. Walkable to South Queensferry for bars/restaurants. Recommend the Boathouse or the railbridge for food.

Try just over the water in North Queensferry, or head east to Gullane, North Berwick.

Sandaig guest house, down by leith links, stayed there a couple of times. Nice old house, good brekkie and very welcoming. 5 mins walk from lots of really good eateries down by leith water, and buses every 5 minutes up to the city centre.

Try Wheatrig Farm, Longniddry. Lovely farmhouse on working farm, food can't be sourced more locally. Owners are great too.

Sun Inn Don't know how much it is to stay but the food is excellent and the early bird menu is great value, was there tonight.
