One for the Hivemind,
If I have a 0% on purchases deal on my credit card and wanted to purchase something from the classifieds on here, would it class as a purchase or cash transfer through PayPal. Just wondered if anybody had experience either way.
I've spoken to my card provider twice and they don't actually seem to know one way or the other.
Any advice or tales of woe appreciated
As long as you can show them you've purchased something, so rather than just sending money get the seller to request it so you can prove you have purchased something rather than just send cash somewhere. I think it should be fine.
As long as you are paying directly by card i'd imagine that it would be classed as a purchase.
It would be different if you were putting money into your paypal account and then they have no way of seeing it being sent to the person on here.
I spoke to my provider today, no charges for pp purchases.
