Well that's at least two of us in!

Who wants the honour of setting it up? Rob? This is your gig after all. 😉

serious question. I've increased my exercise and dropped my calorie intake and one unexpected side effect is that I am literally pissing like a horse. I haven't massively increased my fluid intake either.

Is this how people lose water weight in the first week? 🙂

I had that last year, but probably because I was drinking gallons of tea to stop me eating snacks!

Prizes?? This is austerity Fat Club - the winner of this will be lucky to get a second serving of gruel.

Not freaking likely! I've got enough to do already with babysitting adults who can't feed themselves properly (I'm allowed to joke about that cos I'm one of them :P)

isn't the problem that we can feed ourselves too well?

2nd place for me! 😉 (for now!)

If anyone has better photos to use on the page (wouldn't be hard!), let me know and I'll update it. Strava art of a fat bloke on a bike would be ace!

I like the banner 😆

I might just have to sign up to Strava now - not that I actually ride much...

I can highly recommend

Tom Kerridge's Southern 'Fried' Chicken

I didn't use all the same herbs, just a Schwarz pot of mixed, used some Old Bay seasoning i had instead of paprika, and used 0% natural yoghurt i.o buttermilk (my wife's on Slimming World and that's a free food whereas buttermilk isn't)

Didn't do the potato salad either, just did sweet potato mash, which needs nothing but salt and pepper to make it delicious (no butter/cheese/etc.) and broccoli and got a resounding thumbs up from wife and 2 girls.

Kerridge's is allegedly 500 cals for a 3 thigh portion, with my subs I reckon closer to 400.

Buurrrrppppp!

Good thing to add to coffee is coconut oil. Not too much or it's like your drinking a chow mein but it's also supposed to be good for you.

Earlier this month, the American Heart Association (AHA) warned that coconut oil contains the same level of saturated fat as beef dripping.

Joined the strava group then I remembered I’m keeping my rides private for personal reasons, so I left again. No offense

I doubt this as it's a saturated fat source par excellence.

An unexpected 82kg for me- thought it would be a lot higher. About 6kg less than I started last year's Fat Club, but c12kg more than I got down to last June.

Only bad news , there's a load of food left over from Xmas to go through.

Don't know why but I though first weigh in was today, not just the starting weight! Anyway, down to 102.2 from 103kg, so updated my starting weight.

Probably should have banked that 0.8kg for next week though!

A depressing 15st 2.2lbs to start. Heavier than I've been for about 20 years 😥
Still got three huge Toblerone and some fudge to get through! Good luck everyone, stick at it! Less than a pound a week for me to lose - someone shout at me if I can't achieve that!

I don't seem to be able to edit the spread sheet on my phone. If anyone is in there and happy to pop 207.4 in for me, it would save me firing up the laptop when I get home.

Cheers.

I'm exactly 100kg this morning.
Up 8kg since the start of December 😯 thanks mainly to some long days at work leading to lack of exercise and too much takeaway food.

I've signed up for the South lakes jennride in May so that should be all the incentive I need to shed some lard...

And so it begins: 85.2kg this morning. To be honest, that's a pleasant surprise after the festivities.

I'm aiming to drop 10KG

I've just not decided if that's 10kg from my morning weight or my evening weight, they seem to be drastically different.

There's some fat people doing some alarming miles on the Strava club 😯

Where do you all find the time to eat so much yet also ride so much?

The more you eat, the more you can ride! 😉

Edit = I'm more about elevation gain, as that put me in a better position! 😛
