Went to Scarlet last night with Mrs Mat - also took my cousin and his wife along as a treat.
Absolutely amazing (Michelin starred) food and the best surroundings I have seen in Cornwall - it's properly "Stein" beating. Been to every good restaurant (and hotel) in the county and this now rules the roost.
It's in Mawgan Porth nr Newquay and while pricey (budget for at least £50 a head with drinks) it's fantastic.
