At school we had an English teacher called Mr Shakespeare, a music teacher called Mrs Singer and a history teacher who had a severe turn in one of his eyes so you never knew if is was shouting at you or someone else. His name was B D Jones (no, honestly)...

That guy wants to cut crime and keep people safe so much he said it twice

Which rather goes against his claim to be able to improve efficiency...

Is it nominative determinism or merely an aptonym?

We had an applicant for a job here whose initials were DI. Personally I'd have had to be a policeman. "Constable DI Cunningham"

There is an article on incontinence in the British Journal of Urology (vol 49, pp 173-176, 1977) written by A. J. Splatt and D. Weedon.

One of the GPs at our local practice is Doc Savage. Quite pale, going against that there determinism, I guess.

So what happens to all the kids/people that are named 'Jesus' or 'Mohammed'? Not to many job opportunities for them anymore?

That, and I see the name 'Adolf' has really declined? (unless your parents are redneck white supremacists)

He'll make the police more visible without using red conspicuity tape.
