The phone has usb debugged.
Android file transfer can’t find phone,.
Slide switch ( ?) won’t download to Mac.
All I want to do is move some non iCloud music (too big to upload) to my phone.

I don't understand any of that really, but I do know that some USB cables, if that's what the actual data transfer is being done over, are power only cables and don't do data
