Too many to mention, really.
1. I spend many an evening at the kitchen table doing 'work' on my laptop, but really DJ-ing 80's music on Spotify and/or Youtube while my wife puts the kids' lunches together for the next day at school, and asking 'Do you remember this band?' ad nauseum.
2. I read STW more than I write my own work.
3. I have a bit of a crush on Sophie Ellis Bextor.
Hayley Williams (Paramore)
Gwen Stefani
Carol Vorderman
😳
Does, despite the ridiculous oration, finding that some (not all) of what George Galloway says makes sense, count? If you squint a bit.
edit: actually, that's not really a guilty pleasure.
^^^^ 😯
How is Gwen Stefani a guilty pleasure.
Flash you may have taken this thread into unchartered water we will never return from 😯
"Under the boardwalk!" yep, I never owned that (or at least have no idea how I came to own it)

I'm with you there, hot_fiat.
I never had a problem with George Lamb.
We rewatch Buffy The Vampire Slayer seasons 1 to 7 every winter.
Feels good to get that off my chest.
this is mine.

All those women moaning about their mother in laws and their neighbours and their kids and their husbands, it's very carthartic, I love it.
I like a crafty HP Sauce sandwich.
I can go from initial idea, to construction and consumption within 15 seconds.
If the items are in the right order I can do it whilst walking through the kitchen without stopping.
But does it count as a guilty pleasure if you can never remember having eaten it?, and have to rely on the detritus and after-effects the following morning?
I once woke up on a friends couch with a banging hangover and candle wax all down my right arm and front of my shirt and shoes and could not work out how this had happened.
After a full stewards I came to the conclusion I must have eaten the greasiest donner kebab known to man whilst staggering back after a night out.
Unless they have actually made donner meat fat scented candles.
i will always love the neverending story (both the limahl classic and film).
also falco's rock me amadeus.
i like phil collins also

But is it a guilty pleasure on the basis of what it is, of that you had it, crafty like.
I say both, so double points!
😉
If you're going down the Phil Collins path, raceface90, then I might as well admit to liking a couple of post-Peter Gabriel Genesis tunes.
I've just eaten a 12 pack of mini rolls. More nausea than guilt at the mo although I'm sure the guilt is coming
"Who was the lead singer of Genesis before Phil Collins?"
"Send your answers on a postcard to the Peter Gabriel Competition, BBC television centre"

Queen. Anything with a big fat screaming Brian May guitar solo - like lots of the stuff on A Kind Of Magic. Desperately uncool and makes me feel a bit dirty, but I'll be 40 soon so meh
Avril Lavigne, paramore, Fall Out Boy. If its MOR American teen rock, then its pretty much on my iPod
Lunch time drinking
Baked Cheesecake straight from the fridge as soon as I come home from work
My Onesie
Alyson Hannigan?
I seem to remember she was pretty cute!
I'm working from home today, so I'll just have a quick google to check that out, my memory is rubbish. BRB.
Eating the paper cases cupcakes/muffins come in.

I saw Avril Lavigne live once, which probably means I'm on some sort of register. She was good though. I'm wiiiiiiiiii yooooohoooooohoohoooooooo
I once worked with a chap in his 40's who had a picture of Avril Lavigne on his desk.
This was in 2003.
Bird watching. I love going out to a bird hide or travelling to an RSPB reserve.
Just can't get enough of them, never ever get tired of seeing common birds such as robins, blackbirds etc.
Elton John - I love all his early stuff and have seen him live 9 times, with was worth every penny in my book.
Folk & country
Yep.
Mine are...
- Chip butty's
- Chips with Chinese takeaway
- Afternoon naps with the cat
- John Hughes films
- Films with Jimmy Stewart or Cary Grant
26" hardtail.
Know what you mean about Liza Tarbuck, Binners.
Chicken & mushroom pot noodle. I buy them in fours and always feel so guilty and dirty when doing it. I look around the supermarket like a meerkat, hoping not to see someone I know!
Alright, a real one:
Strong Cheddar and salad cream sandwich, with a mug of sweet tea.
And Jewel Staite. Shiny indeed.
Land rovers
Is sad, it's geeky, other Land rover 'enthusiasts' are weird 😯
But it's like massive sad middle age Lego and I love mine 😀
Speedcore.
I like 'deadliest catch'. Also, even though I am nearly 40, I've not grown out of the pleasure of knocking one out from time to time.
Very cold Tennants, not super t or anything like that, just Tennants - a rare and guilty pleasure.
...And Liza Tarbuck
Uncooked cookie mix. If a pack says it'll make 12, I'll be lucky to have enough mix left to make half of that!
Also, Taylor Swift. 😳
Turkey burger sandwiches with a dollop of salad cream.
BBQ beef super noodles.
Overtaking boy racers in my 1.2 Fiat Panda 😆
Mine has to be corned beef, i bloody love the stuff. Musically, Taylor Swift, i have no idea why though
A hot pie from Greggs or Aulds, guzzled down in the street outside the shop, and then another one when that one's finished, any time I touch down on Glasgow's hallowed soil.
Got so many that it would take all week to list them all... But here's some of the most shameful.
-Corned Beef. Yup, I'm another heathen! Bloody love it. Cold and with mashed potato and peas preferably.
-Bovril. Spread thick all over buttered toast! Yum. Also a cup of hot Bovril worked wonders 9hrs into a 12hr solo MTB race last summer... Was about 10mins faster on the next lap.
-Haribo. I have to try not to buy them, cos if I do, they all get munched very quickly!
-Fish Fingers. The food of champions!
And that's just a start on the food based ones... Here's a few non food based...
-Genesis/Phil Collins. They were a fantastic band, and he's an incredible singer/songwriter/drummer! There you go...
-Queen. Freddy was god. Simple!
-Michael Jackson. Wasn't known as the King of Pop for no reason.
-Prince. Fruitier than a bag of Starburst, but a musical genius!
-Many Britney songs (but Toxic is by far and away the best).
-Pharrell Williams. I want to hate him but I can't! He's just so god damned talented.
-The Simpsons. Probably seen every episode several times, but still can't turn it off. Even though I know every line pretty much, I still find it hilarious!
-Family Guy. See the Simpsons.
-American Dad. See the Simpsons and Family Guy.
Oh and most heinous of all...
-Road bikes. The more I ride on the road, the more I enjoy it! I don't think I'll ever stop MTBing, but road riding has taken over the majority of my riding by some margin now and will probably continue to stay that way I'm afraid to say.
