Do you have a community/group that you feel close to?
I grew up in a wee village where everyone knew who was who,which was good and bad in equal measure.I miss it sometimes,and even though other groups have filled that gap from time to time,motorbiking,cycling and climbing,I find myself thinking about the belonging part of it more recently.It may just be a case of the kids getting older,so heading towards empty nest syndrome.That and the last few books I read were all set around small communities.

my local village pub is the heart of my "community" group.
I'd be sorely lost, lonely and grumpy without it.
Rugby club and Archery club are nice groups, but not the same as village community feel.
Local Scout group. Been involved as a helper and exec member since he started Beavers, and group is very high profile locally doing "good deeds"
Plus the village well dressing and scarecrow trail. In 3 weeks time!
The pub goes without saying.....
