Hi,
My visit at a mid-west USA research group is finishing this week. I'd like to get a present/foodstuff for everyone. It ranges from shop floor guys to senior researchers.
What'd you get?
HR
Try something quintessentially British. I work a good proportion of my time in the mid-west and something British always goes down well.
what british stuff can you get in the midwest?? I've been living off beef, chipotle and dunkin donuts 😀
What kind of present/ foodstuff? Something that's eaten in an afternoon and people say "wow, that was tasty!" (like cupcakes), or something that's kept and treasured with "oh wow, that'll keep us going for a while"? How many people?
Because the answer ranges from "2 boxes of Krispy Kremes" to "a wheel of parmesan", and lots in between... 😉
As TonyG says though, something that they wouldn't normally get, or something British, could go down a treat
I got all excited for a moment thinking you were the Hans Rey.
You bastard.
Depends on how Hicksville you are.
Something british should be possible?
i'll have a look for something british then
They've got a tradition of deepfrying everything here, so i could buy some mars bars and fry them.
