After killing my guitar i'm drowning my sorrows with a bramble.
I bloody love cocktails, manly ones with egg and whisky right through to fruity little numbers with half a greengrocers hanging on the edge.
Home made or mind nummingly expensive bars. You name it i'll smash it.

Yep, but I keep it simple - White Russian (or Cuban, Rum rather than Vodka). Very moreish...
I celebrate National Piña Colada day on July 10th every year.
There are many recipes but the original is the best.
2 ounces white rum
1 ounce coconut cream
1 ounce heavy cream
6 ounces fresh pineapple juice
½ cup of crushed ice
Add the rum, cream of coconut, cream and pineapple juice in a blender. Add the ice and blend until smooth for about 15 seconds. Serve in a 12-ounce glass. Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry.

I hardly drink - but on the rare occasion I go somewhere that serves good cocktails...
