I've just moved back to Cumbria this weekend after moving away about 15 years ago - woo hoo! Can anybody recommend a circuits-type class in the area, - Barrow, Dalton, Ulverston or anywhere in between? I'm looking for something on a weekday evening. The closest i've found is a core conditioning class at Barrow leisure centre which I might give a go.

Maybe I should have asked about group rides first? Interested in that too!

Thanks - and wish me luck with the new job, i'm gonna have a go at making those big submarines!

There is a DW fitness by the DDH, maybe try there. If not, you can get a good workout fighting with the locals down Cornwallis street on a Friday night ๐Ÿ™‚

Any other suggestions? DW looks a bit pricey, I'm not interested in the gym bit just the occasional class. Thanks.

Re group rides, Gill Cycles do one on Sundays. Just check the website for times/start point.

Ha ha! College socials at Martini's, I remember them well.

Biketreks also used to do a Sunday ride from the shop (Ambleside), don't know if they still do them.
