As per the lengthy title really. I’ve destroyed my wired headphones by falling asleep with them and then rolling about whilst in the land of nod. They are used with a Kindle Fire which is a tad large and awkward to position without knocking it about.

Anyone have a recommendation for some cheap in ear jobs that sound okay at low volume. Figure I can use them with Deezer on the iPhone. Leave the phone on the drawers and fall asleep with sweet music. Tried my proper wireless headphones, but I sleep on my side so it’s a no go.

I have bought a bluetooth widget to work with wired phones - that tucked under the mattress seems to be working without destroying the headphones, but I'd be interested in a wireless ear buds option too.

I do the same and just buy fistfuls of "disposable" ear buds from Poundland.
Might last a day, might last a couple of months. Use them with a cheap mp3 player. Not really fussed about sound quality, just need something to drown out the voices/thoughts.

Get a pillow speaker! They're on ebay for like 2 quid. Don't get the ones from China as they take hundreds of weeks to come. They're great.

Thanks for the ideas. Had a pillow speaker, but now have a really ridiculously comfortable pillow and can’t part with it.

Why would you have to part with your pillow? The speaker goes underneath it

Sorry Jekyl, I was thinking of one of those pillows with an inbuilt speaker for some reason. I’ll take a closer look at the Roberts one linked.

Bit leftfield but I’ve been considering one of these

I dunno about the OP, but that's exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks. Just bought one, if I can hear it and SWMBO can't I'm quids in. Ta.
