Looking for a "cheap" surface drysuit, for a sea kayak and generally pissing about.
Budget <£300.
Any recommendations? I know that Lomo tends to get mentioned as good value for money, but they look gobbing! (I know that doesn't matter but it does...)
The Typhoon Hypercurve looks OK and come in budget.
Any recommendations would be very welcome.

Don't know anything about Trident but would expect Typhoon and Gul to last longer than Lomo.
Typhoon and Gul make good dry suits, various price points to suit. Just beware of care and washing them down and storage (neck and wrist seals are thin neoprene and can stick together or degrade to the point where they need replacing... we use talc on the seals when storing)
I've recently got a DamX drysuit and would recommend them. Custom made to your size and you can get a kayaking specific one for £300ish depending on what extras you want like pee-zips.
Only downside is that they are not breathable material, you would think this would matter but I sweat in breathable ones anyway and it isn't a problem, the material is durable and you can normally get 10 years use out of them.
My breathable drysuits (including lomo) have died within 2 or 3 years and leaked within 1 normally.
Maybe look at kayaking ones as well.
