An old project was put to bed a couple of years ago with everything being dumped on a DVD-R. It has since been revived (which wasn't supposed to happen) but the damn disc has corrupted. Is there a solid/reliable recovery app that can get everything off?
Isobuster is the only tool so far to recognise the original file/folder list (well, what I can remember of it) but it's $40. Happy to pay if I know it'll work but there's no guarantee. Don't want to end up having to try/buy loads of others app that don't work either.
Any recommendations?
Win preferably, but have OSX too.

Have you tried Recuva? It's from the same people as ccleaner and is free.

Yep, unfortunately it doesn't read CDs/DVDs 🙁
