Cleared out some old planters earlier and found a few spuds we missed from last year.

Removed the netting when we dug most of the other spuds up, so had to remove a few cat eggs.

Obviously, we're having pasta, but I'd love to donate the spuds to the in laws, then tell them a week or so after they've eaten them.

Will I kill them?
I'm a poor liar and would sing like a canary if they actually became ill.

So, chuck 'em or give them away?

And yes, we usually put butter on ours....

Of course, they taste horrible otherwise.

T'internet suggests the spuds'll be fine once cooked, but I don't think I could face 'em.

Cat eggs were on the surface, spuds a foot or more down.

Mixed beds.
We've loads of open spud sacks as well, but they were clag free.
