Has anyone on here had any experiences with the Royal Hotel in Cardiff, which is just round the corner from the Millenum Stadium?

Good or Bad?

We stayed in a Premier inn that was not far from the Millenum Stadium very nice for the money - free car park as well.

The Royal used to be a large fading worn at the edges hotel.Very much traped in the past. Its had a total overhaul now, and is very much a modern trendy place. Great location for city centre activeties but depending were your room is it might be noisy on the weekends, with all the revellers outside. They'r laying a new gas main outside at the moment wich might be of concern.A bit pricey but apart from that no bad things to report.

Heard good things about The Big Sleep if you are just in town on business.

Thanks to all, especially taxi.

Yes your right Mr O and they except K9's as well, hence why I'm not using Premier inn.
