I'll be in Cardiff next weekend and hoping to get a MTB ride in. I'm considering driving to Afan or BPW but does anyone have any recommendations for something a bit closer to the city? Few hours, some fun tech stuff would be good...
Found an old MBR route that goes up on the ridge to the north of Cardiff which looks like it could be decent.
Loads of riding from the city. When are you riding? I can take you on a ride if you like, or I can put a GPX together. But as with lots of local tech some can be hard to find.
Saturday 5th. That's the plan anyway. Would be amazing to have a guide. I'll be on FS and going to BPW the following week so looking to get a bit of practice in...
There are some techie bits, but also climbing. Not loads of steep tech unless you want to drive a bit. How long have you got?
Seems I got my dates wrong, sorry - won't be there next weekend after all. We'll be down there at some point soon though as my gf's sister lives there, so I'll see if you're about if/when I'm there with bike!
