looking at changing my car and have seen a few with POA instead of just putting a price on the vehicle . Why do garages do this , is there any advantage over just quoting a price ?
This is usually reserved for mega money classics and super rare super cars isn’t it?
It’s so if you actually want to know the price they get your name and phone number for their “records”
not because it is s fantastic deal... all part of the upsell
So you don't see it's more expensive than the one in the dealership down the road.
The only realistic outcome is that they will have none of my business.
it must work on some people, but to me it just says 'too much' and i ignore.
Or there car does not actually exist (or long since sold) and it's just a rouse to get you to call up.
