I sold my Golf but had some replacement alloys in the pipeline, now I have them I'm wondering if they'll go on a mate's Caddy but are wheels rated for load bearing? They're mk4 15"ers. Anyone know?

Should be fine just look at the load rating of the tyre 88 or 92. 92 is for people carriers and vans

depends on the age. mk4 golf was 5-110 i think, newer ones are 5-112. New caddy is based on mk5 chassis, so 5x112,

And yes they should be load rated. Half the plated max axle weight as an absolute minimum

plate is probably under the bonnet up next to the firewall (that's where it is on The t5 anyway)

Presuming the Caddy is >03 then no, they won't fit.

The Mk4 golf is 5x110 and the caddy is 5x112.

Don't put the 15's on. Save up for some 19's and a lowering kit.

Sorry did you mean new or old caddy. As I'm old I assumed you ment the original caddie not the van

Old Caddys were 4x100 so mk4 Golf wheels still wouldn't fit.

A mk4 golf is 5x100, not 5x110.

As previously mentioned if it's an older golf, it's unlikely. My old Octavia had 5x112 and I sold the winters to a caddy owner. They were on old Audi alloys
