Getting a new phone, but would like something that I could make international calls using Skype with. Thinking Nokia X6. Comes free with Orange. Salesman wasn't clear on using Skype abroad for cheap calls. He said if web connection wasn't by wifi it could be very expensive. Is that the case?
Changing from an htc Touch HD
I noticed on another thread that its possible to buy an htc Desire outwith say Orange. Does anyone have a link to where?

Skype have apps for some mobile, check Skype site for list. I know there isn't one for android yet but could be 3rd party one. Not sure how good 3g would be for Skype calls. You'd not be long in munching through your data allowance.
