Righty,
Here's the situation; me and a mate of mine go camping, and while sat having a (disposable) BBQ and a beer, we both think that some sort of uber-fire-bbq machine/tray/thing would be an excellent idea, also agreeing that the welding kit i've just acquired would also be 'just the ticket' to make something with.
My suggestion was to cut a washing machine drum approx 2/3 down so we have a solid base with a perforated edge, weld either some legs on it, or something to attach legs to - with some grill bit on the top.
And that seems a little over-engineered?
Any suggestions/help/photo's/idea's would be very much appreciated 😉
thanks in advance,
Jonathan

We have the Smokey Joe - too big for a cycling trip (unless you have a cargo bike!), but the Go-Anywhere looks pretty good. Not sure if it solves your camping stove/BBQ in one issue, though. [/url]
light the bbq
bbq food
eat food
drink, be happy
carefully - raise up bbq somehow and puncture bottom
remove grill
add firewood
