[Closed] Calderdale locals - donating carpet to a charity?
We've got a new carpet ('cos of new fireplace) and as our old one has plenty of life left in it, I want to find it a new home and not put it in landfill. It's from a large room (~4*4.5m) and can be easily cut down for a smaller room, I've even got the underlay for it.
Are there any charities that accept used carpets & underlay in the Halifax/Hudds area?
Might be worth calling Overgate (theres a brighouse furniture store), they were very helpful with clearing my mums flat, they certainly took rugs, and they do uplift.

Colt Project in Elland might accept carpet too, I know they take furniture?

Overgate don't take them and told me Project Colt might do.
Project Colt don't take carpets but I've found out that St Vincent's might...waiting for a call back
