BASE is the only thing in my life which I have wanted to do but have never done. I've done all the rest. I'm just not confident enough in my jumping to do it. Far rather find myself hopping out of an Islander over the middle os Salisbury Plain!
Oh, and I've known people who've not quite made that landing....
I think the guy who crashed TWICE in one year proves that base jumping is for the foolhardy and most definately not for me.
I thought base jumping was about long drops then parachute openings at the latest possible point.
Wembley stadium and the dome are a bit lame for this, they jump, parachute opens, they sail down that's it!
Looked lame compared to the flying man stuff, cave stuff above etc.
