I need a good brownie recipe, can anyone help out?

Rather not have nuts in it, chocolate chips are welcome though.

No hash either thanks, its for a work charity cake day ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

I've had good results with Nigella's flour-less ones, they use ground almonds though so if the nut omission is allergy related maybe try the hairy bikers ones instead - their luxury cookie recipe is great too, just add whatever you fancy... dark chocolate chunks & cherries work well. Removing the hash is a sensible thought too - it's much easier to mix in some finely ground electric cabbage instead, allegedly

Add in some chopped Medjool dates to the brownie mix, they give a lovely caramelised toffee flavour and consistency

I'm a big fan of the Guardian's "how to cook the perfect XXX" series, I've done quite a few of their recipes and they've all been good. Not done the brownie one, but I see no reason to doubt it:

Entertaining read, too.
