In which case, why are you even interested in knowing the answer ?
I suspect that a more honest comment would have been : "I only noticed because I was watching the tripe".
I thought he was a very good dancer, and freely admit I was watching it. Good Saturday night family telly that we watched together.
You mean that you don't need to be constantly intellectually tested by only ever watching TV programmes with no popular appeal sc-xc ?
You sometimes watch TV programmes for no reason other than their "entertainment" value ?
