It's also illegal to be drunk in a pub, restaurant or on the street.

Indeed. However, I was unsure if it was considered a “big one”. When I was a teen, practically everyone copied their albums onto tape to play in their Walkman. I have never heard of anyone being prosecuted for this. Nor, of the police staking out the homes of people making mix-tapes.

Many Many Many times. The only time I got handcuffed and stuffed into cells for a few days was a total mistake on their part. My Spanish wasn't good enough to win them over.

Once or twice. Most recently today, driving my car which ran out of MOT yesterday. Motoring offences don't really count though..........
