Since yesterday my boiler will not fire up to for our hot water! It fires up fine for the central heating and we are able to get some hot water from this!
Has anyone any ideas before I get stung with a call out charge ect...?
What type of heating do you have ? Combi ? Header tank in loft + hot water tank ?

I'm not a plumber so not qualified to give advice but on my Alpha combi first the microswitch went and then the diaphragm which operates it went. Both resulted in boiler not firing for water but ok for heating
Sorry should of said its a saunier duval combi boiler!
All I can suggest is bad luck - one of the least like makes of boiler!
Try BG one off boiler repair, but probably diaphragm or diverter valve.
