I knew the book wasnt exactly a laugh a minute, but bloody hell - is this supposed to be entertainment?

Loved the book, thought this was an excellent adaptation.
Liked the way they mixed the storylines up rather than just doing everything in chronological order.
This first half had most of the happy bits in it too 😀

Birdsong was pretty true to the book, though shuffled chronologically.
